Make the Background of Your Logo Transparent

First: Happy World Cup Final day! Hopefully everyone loves the punny soccer team name😂. Original credit to @physio_memes for that!

LOTS of ways to do this, but here are two of them:

The videos are located here!

Video 1: Mac Preview software

Step 1: Open up your logo in “preview”

Step 2: Hit the magic wand icon (if it is not automatically in the top bar, push the little pen button that is next to the image rotator button.. all the way to the right)

Step 3: Click and drag on a small portion of the background and then release. The background will be selected

Step 4: Hit the delete button

Step 5: If you have letters with holes, you will need to repeat steps 3 & 4 until the entire background is gone!

Step 6: Save!

Video 2: Photoshop

Step 1: Open your image in photoshop

Step 2: Select the paintbrush tool that has a dotted line around it; right click on it to select the magic wand tool

Step 3: Make one click on the background of your image and hit the delete button

Step 4: Select the small portions of your letters and repeat step 3 until the entire background is gone *I needed to right click and select the quick selection tool because the magic wand didn’t work.. this may happen to you! Select the area you want to delete and hit the delete button

Step 5: Save!
